About Me
Once upon a time, in the heart of beautiful Canada, near a place called Rice Lake there was a tiny workshop. This story begins with me, Claudia, a former IT Analyst, who traded the digital world’s complexities for the tangible joy of crafting. Driven by a quest for a cleaner, more meaningful lifestyle, I left the corporate life behind to focus on what truly mattered: my family, particularly my son living with autism, and my passion for creation.
PureCrafts was born from this profound shift in life’s focus. Here, in this sanctuary of creativity, every project is imbued with love, patience, and the joy of discovery. The workshop stands as a testament to my journey – from analyzing data to crafting art, from the hum of computers to the sound of nature, from a structured office to a space where creativity knows no bounds.
The ethos of PureCrafts is deeply rooted in sustainability, reflecting my commitment to a cleaner lifestyle. Using materials that harmonize with the environment, each piece i design and make is not just an item but a piece of a larger narrative about living consciously and lovingly.
My journey from IT to art, from analyst to caregiver, has infused PureCrafts with a unique perspective. Here, every creation is a story of transformation, resilience, and the beauty of adapting to life’s most profound lessons. Whether you’re looking for a piece that resonates with your soul or you’re eager to learn, create, or simply connect, PureCrafts welcomes you to be part of its ever-evolving narrative.
